Abstract

For many decades, great importance has been attached to the issues of suggestion in various spheres of human life. At the same time, proceeding from the physiological theory of the dominant by Academician A.A. Ukhtomsky, the issues of using the suggestion in the theory and practice of pedagogy of higher education have not been practically studied. For the first time in pedagogy, the key issues of using the suggestion (hypnotic suggestion) as a type of speech influence against the background of positive musical accompaniment in a humanitarian university from a physiological standpoint are considered on specific examples. According to the authors, the main and new property of the dominant is the possession of efferent systems, the main of which is the muscular system which is not in the doctrine of A.A. Ukhtomsky, so the dominant can and should be identified by the activity of the muscular system.
