Abstract

The article is devoted to an urgent problem today – teaching children the initial programming skills. Modern children live in the era of modern digital progress and the development of robotics. Technical achievements and innovations are increasingly penetrating into all spheres of human activity and arouse great interest among children in modern technology. Children learn smartphones, tablets and other technical means very quickly, so it can be very difficult not to miss the moment when a child becomes addicted to gadgets. It is almost impossible to completely protect a child from such equipment and computer technologies, therefore it is necessary to use these technologies for the benefit of the formation of the child's personality. The developed stages of teaching programming to children aged six or seven and the proposed tasks will help to acquire initial knowledge and skills of writing programs, develop logical thinking and the ability to independently acquire knowledge, deducing patterns from practical experience and testing their assumptions experimentally. In the article, the authors consider the senior preschool age under the ages of 6-7 years.
