The main field and results of the research work of the Department of Vocational and Technological Education

Abstract

The article examines the experience of the Department of Vocational and Technological Education in solving the main tasks of implementing the directions of research and educational work on training specialists for the system of school, secondary special and additional education. The main results summarized in monographs and textbooks of teachers of the department are described. The technologies, innovative methods and formats of the educational process organization are analyzed. The positive aspects of the department's work are updated on the basis of the functioning of three research centers: the Center for Continuing Pedagogical Education, the Center for Support of Production Systems and Entrepreneurship and the Center for Arts, Crafts and Design. The prospective tasks of further scientific and methodological work of the department, expansion of cooperation with the pedagogical community are determined.
