Methodological aspects of the formation of the component of functional mathematical literacy among secondary school students
Abstract
The article actualizes the problem of designing a methodology for forming the components of functional literacy among secondary school students. As part of solving the problem, based on a review of the main directions of designing the methodology, an approach was chosen based on the idea of developing a constructor of educational tasks aimed at forming the activity components of functional literacy, a sequence of teacher activities that determine the basis for designing methods for the formation (development) of functional literacy among students schools, examples of a set of educational tasks for the formation of one of the components of functional literacy - functional mathematical literacy, as well as an example of actions when working with task material of a subject nature are given. To obtain the results, methods of content analysis of approaches to the definition of the concept, analysis of normative documentation, comparison, design of types of educational and cognitive activities of students were used. In conclusion, attention is drawn to the content and activity variability of the wording of educational tasks, as well as to the universality of the proposed sequence of teacher actions.
