The phonetic formation of speech in older preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment
Abstract
The article highlights the problem of phonetic formation of speech in older preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment. The content of the concept of “general speech underdevelopment” is revealed. It is interpreted as a complex speech disorder in which children with normal hearing and primary intact intelligence have a systemic impairment of all components of speech activity. A system of speech therapy work is presented, aimed at identifying the features of the formation of phonetic pronunciation skills in this category of children. The authors describe the stages of experimental research. They are the stating stage including the diagnosis of the speech development of preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment; the formative stage containing the tasks for forming the correct phonetic pronunciation in children of this group; the control stage was based on the assessment of the speech therapy work effectiveness. The results of the experimental study were analyzed, positive dynamics of indicators was revealed.
