Abstract

The article presents the experience of speech therapy examination of children with various types of stuttering. The diagnosis is based on the classical technique of L.I. Belyakova and E.A. Dyakova which allows to identify individual causes of manifestations of tempo-rhythmic speech disorders of a convulsive nature comprehensively. Leading research methods: speech therapy and pedagogical experiments, conversation with parents, observation, analysis, synthesis, processing and interpretation of results. The study showed that in addition to individual characteristics there is a common cause of relapse after remission for all patients: direct influence of intra-family conflicts and indirect influence of external social factors. A plan of systemic assistance is proposed to normalize the speech status of children through a comprehensive medical, psychological and pedagogical approach as well as a scheme for parents to work with children to prevent relapses of stuttering in conditions of possible home self-isolation.
