Study of the speech grammatical structure in preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment
Abstract
The problem of the prevalence of agrammatisms in children's speech remains one of the leading themes for discussion among the speech therapy and pedagogical community. Grammatical disorders can be one of the leading defects in preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment which entails a violation of other components of the speech system.
It is worth noting that the lack of early correction of these violations can subsequently negatively affect the writing and reading skills of the future student.
The aim of the research is to study the grammatical structure of speech in preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment.
Scientific novelty. The method proposed by the author for assessing the results of a speech therapy examination of the preschoolers’ grammatical structure of speech makes it possible to determine the dynamics of this speech component development in a short time and in a playful way.
Practical significance. A survey of 5-year-old children was carried out for mastering the grammatical structure of speech. The results of the survey indicate a lack of attention to the development of this speech component in the pedagogical work of state preschool educational institutions.
