The role of mutual trust in teaching a foreign language in higher education
Abstract
This article examines the phenomenon of trust, its essence, various approaches to understanding this term, which is associated with all spheres of society. Trust plays an indisputable role in the development of personal and professional qualities of each person. The article substantiates the importance of trust in society and in the pedagogical process, in particular, in the process of teaching foreign languages at the higher pedagogical school. The mutual trust between the participants of the educational process in practical classes in a foreign language is analyzed. The current study focuses on the problem of establishing trust relationships, and also describes their impact on the motivation of both foreign language learners and the teacher in higher school. Promising directions for further research are outlined.
