Research on the effectiveness of rational strategies at the initial stage of German language teaching

Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of using rational strategies at the initial stage of learning German, which help students to successfully learn new lexical material, contribute to the involvement of each student in the learning process, bring variety to the course of the lesson and form motivation to learn a foreign language. Methodically correctly constructed sets of exercises with the use of rational learning strategies help students not only to overcome the difficulties and mistakes that arise in the lexical design of foreign language utterances however also create the necessary basis for further learning a foreign language.
