Legal support for the first steps of the Soviet government in the illiteracy fight
Abstract
The article examines the legal regulation of the first actions of the Soviet government in the illiteracy fight. Particular attention is paid to a retrospective analysis of the reasons and conditions for combating illiteracy through the adoption of various legal documents in order to satisfy the interests of the Soviet government to increase the level of cultural and economic development of the country. The contradiction between the interests of the people and the Soviet government in the illiteracy fight was revealed, since many attempts in the illiteracy fight at different historical stages were unsuccessful. The Soviet government undertook all possible leverage to educate the people by organizing points for the provision of educational services depending on the living conditions of the population, but the task of the widespread elimination of illiteracy was not achieved.
