Abstract

The article analyzes a poem by a prominent poet of the second half of the twentieth century - Bella Akhmadulina. The purpose of the study is to identify the function of the Pan`s image, the ways of creating it in a lyric poem and in the poet's aesthetics. For this, a systemic and holistic approach is applied, combining literary hermeneutics, mythological and (partially) biographical method. The article identifies the main reasons for Bella Akhmadulina's appeal to the image of Pan, and the features characteristic of this image. The authors note the closeness of the lyrical heroine to the image of Pan: they are both endowed with talent and cause misunderstanding of others, they are alone. The likeness of Pan to Higher powers and inspiration is also emphasized. The problematic of the article can be defined as follows: the study of the ways of creating the image of the Poet (Demiurge) in the world art culture, which is perceived by the lyrical heroine Bella Akhmadulina as a personal memory.
