Abstract
The article is devoted to the description of the main stages of a history lesson aimed at forming one of the universal learning actions – the ability to analyze, using the example of historical events of the foreign policy of the Russian Empire in the first half of XIX The methodological basis for the methodological development is the main principles of the system-activity approach, which lies at the basis of the Federal State Educational standard of basic General education in history.
