Interdisciplinary connections in Belarusian and Russian literature in high school

Abstract

The article discusses the relationship between two disciplines of the school course – between the Belarusian and the Russian literature. Under the analysis falls the possibility of coordination of the two subjects in the context of the promotion of intercultural communication.

The recommendations on the use of interdisciplinary connections are based on studying of monographic themes to form students’ initial understanding of the interrelations and mutual influence in the work of writers and for the purpose of the perception of literature as a process in high school. It is proved the relevance of studying Belarusian literature in relation to Russian literature at various stages of studying the works of writers and conducting research work as well as project activity at school. The article focuses on the possibilities of using various types and levels of literary relations with an emphasis on such artistic communication as historical and biographical relations which are the most accessible for the perception of senior students.

The presented materials of the article are of practical importance for teachers of the Belarusian and the Russian literature.
