The urgent need to integrate spiritual, moral and physical education in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia
Abstract
The current professional environment for employees of the Russian Federation’s internal affairs agencies is characterized by significantly increased demands on their moral, psychological, and physical qualities. Traditional approaches to organizing physical training in educational institutions within the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, despite their regulatory and methodological sophistication, are often primarily instrumental in nature and insufficiently focused on the deep internalization of professionally significant spiritual and moral values (health as a value, responsibility, self-control, service to the Fatherland, and mutual assistance). Under these conditions, the search for and scientifically substantiation of integrative pedagogical technologies that seamlessly combine physical education with the spiritual and moral development of future police officers is becoming increasingly urgent. The integration of these two approaches is viewed not as a simple summation of activities, but as a qualitatively new process in which physical activity serves both as a means of developing physical qualities and a powerful tool for shaping moral attitudes, self-control, and responsibility.
