Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of certain aspects of the civic identity of future teachers in new regions of the Russian Federation. The relevance of conducting an empirical study aimed at determining the characteristics of students' civic identity as well as identifying media consumption styles and indicators of non-inclusion in the Internet of future teachers is argued. The general and distinctive features of media perception among representatives of various age groups of students are identified and described. The necessity of creating such a media field in the educational environment of the university with the use of media pedagogy tools which would contribute to the development and formation of important personal qualities and characteristics of students, is argued. The features of the relationship between the level characteristics of the civic identity of future teachers and the indicators of non-embodiment on the Internet are revealed. The key “psychological targets” (“media competencies”) that are important for developing a model for the formation of future teachers’ civic identity by means of media pedagogy are described.
