Non-governmental educational centers of additional education as a positive phenomenon of modern Russian education

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to characterize the work of institutions of additional education and non-governmental educational centers. The analysis of the activities of these centers is given on the example of “Spring” successfully working for two decades in Kirov. The activity of the center is shown: work with adults and children, educational and physical culture and wellness areas. The most important area of the center's work is the preparation of preschool children for school. It is concluded that non-governmental educational centers present a positive phenomenon of modern Russian education; their activities qualitatively complete the work of state institutions of the same profile. It is necessary to continue further scientific study of their work and support them.
