Pedagogical conditions for the formation of the readiness of future oil and gas industry workers to overcome production risks
Abstract
The need to study the readiness of future oil and gas industry workers to overcome production risks is due to the presence of negative factors in their upcoming professional activities. The formation of this quality is carried out in professional educational organizations and its effectiveness is ensured by the implementation of pedagogical conditions. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and test one of the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the effective formation of the readiness of future oil and gas industry workers to overcome production risks.
The basis of this readiness as an integrative quality of personality is knowledge and labor actions necessary for safe professional activity. The effectiveness of this quality formation is ensured by pedagogical conditions in the process of professional training: updating the knowledge and labor actions of students by including a risk-based context in the content of educational disciplines; mastering safe actions of workers using contextual learning methods; gaining experience in self-control of industrial safety in pedagogical monitoring. The author substantiates the first pedagogical condition and implements it in study the disciplines “Industrial safety”, “Labor Protection”, “Environmental protection”, “Fundamentals of first aid to injured at work” at the college. The effectiveness of this condition in the development of knowledge as an element of the readiness of future oil and gas industry workers to overcome the production risks is proved with the experiment.
The scientific novelty of the article is to determine the key pedagogical condition that ensures the formation of the quality under consideration: updating the knowledge and labor actions of students including a risk-based context in the academic disciplines content. The characterization of the readiness of future oil and gas industry workers to overcome production risks as an integrative quality of personality and the allocation of integral elements of its content: knowledge and labor actions constitute the theoretical significance of the article. The practical significance lies in the possibility of applying the presented risk-based context of academic disciplines in the development of educational programs for the training of future workers in college.
