The value bases of the pedagogical concept of the formation of adolescents’ civil identity in children's public associations

Abstract

The article discusses the development and implementation of the pedagogical concept of the formation of adolescents’ civil identity in children's public associations from the standpoint of value bases. The following value foundations of the author's concept were identified and characterized: a) consideration of adolescents as a value resource for the progressive development of the country in the future, strengthening Russian statehood, ensuring public safety as well as a resilient generation capable of resisting the risky conditions of society; b) the priority of the value-semantic component of the development of adolescents' sense of belonging to the cultural wealth of Russian civilization, multinational people, language, awareness of the importance of the unity and solidarity of everyone and everyone in the fate of Russia; c) the valuable personal meaning of group membership in children's public associations as a special self-organizing, self-governing, flexible and open child-adult community in terms of popularizing samples of morality, spirituality, community collectivism, social responsibility, citizenship, humanism; d) the semantic orientation of the activities of children's public associations to achieve the social ideal of a young citizen of Russia of the future reflecting a generalized set of requirements for personal characteristics and behavioral models of adolescents, taking into account the observance of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values and actions for the benefit of their country.
