The methodology of using the local history almanac materials “Shadrinsk antiquity” in the lessons “History of Russia” in secondary schools of Shadrinsk

Abstract

This article is devoted to innovative forms of using the materials of the local history almanac “Shadrinsk antiquity” in the process of studying the subject “History of Russia” in secondary school. This almanac includes historical and local history information about the daily life Shadrinsk in the 19th - 20th centuries. The almanac “Shadrinsk Antiquity” has been published since 1993, in 2023 the thirtieth anniversary issue was published. The author presents the forms and methods of teaching history using local history materials of the almanac "Shadrinsk antiquity" on the topics “World War I 1914 – 1918”, “Civil War in 1918-1921”, “The Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, “The rear during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, “The Siege of Leningrad 1941-1944”, “History of secondary educational and special educational institutions of Shadrinsk”.
