Abstract
The article deals the with methodical training of future vocational teachers through their term paper on the theory and methodology of teaching special disciplines. The author reveals the main purpose and a number of important modern requirements for the term paper, aimed at the formation and development of a whole complex of universal, general cultural and professional competencies. The author offers the sequence of choosing the compulsory components for the correct formulation of the topic taking into account the stated conditions. The topic is not given to the students in a ready-made form but is formulated by them independently based on their interests. The article presents the recommended structure of the term paper and the sequence of its organization on the design of the professional training process.
In conclusion, the author gives a characteristic of the educational and methodical manual in the form of a workshop. The workshop is for students in the field of training 44.03.04 – Vocational training as well as for teachers-methodists conducting the term papers.
